IPPY Update and other announcements!

Update on IPPY Nomination and a few announcements: Sadly, Echoes of Pemberley was not awarded a medal. There were so many excellent entrants and deserving authors…Congratulations to all the winners!! I was truly humbled to be nominated by my publisher on my first novel – Thank you again, Meryton Press! The other Meryton Press entrant, Author Karen M. Cox, won a GOLD in the romance category for her new release Find Wonder in All Things. Congratulations Karen – I’m so proud to be part of this publishing agency!

Better news: Yesterday Echoes of Pemberley was featured in the May/June issue of Southern Writers Magazine in their Magnolia Corner.  All southern writers out there need to tap into this great resource! http://www.southernwritersmagazine.com/

Lastly: On Tuesday May 8th @ 7:00 pm, I will be doing a book signing and a short talk on Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen, and what inspired me to write Echoes of Pemberley for the Biltmore Lecture Series at the Lake Club House – If you live in or around the Asheville area and still haven’t gotten your copy be sure and stop by!! Pictures will follow!

Will chat soon – Have a Blessed Day Everyone!!
